The City of Mississauga has deferred interim and final property tax due dates by 90 days. Read more
Find out how to pay your property taxes to the City of Mississauga online, in person or by mail.
1. Pre-Authorized Tax Payment (PTP) Plan
If you have no overdue taxes you can enrol in the PTP plan online to have your property taxes automatically withdrawn from your bank account, either in monthly withdrawals or on regular instalment due dates.
You can also submit the completed PTP Application by mail or in person along with a void cheque. Follow the steps on the form to enrol.
If you move or buy a new property, you’ll need to complete a new PTP application form. Your PTP is cancelled once property ownership is updated.
2. At your financial institution
Pay your property taxes at most banks and trust companies either online or at your branch.
3. At City Hall
Pay your property taxes in person at the Mississauga Civic Centre at 300 City Centre Drive at any one of these customer service desks:
Cashiers – Ground Floor (weekdays, 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.)
We accept cash, cheques including post-dated cheques or direct debit.
For after-hours payment, you can drop off your cheques in the drop box located at the cashier’s counter on the ground floor or outside of the building on the North side. Your payment will be processed the next business day.
Mail your property tax cheque including post-dated cheques payable to “Mississauga Taxes” to:
PO Box 3040, Station A

The cheque must include the roll number you would like the payment applied to and also the stub from your tax bill.
