What you need to book a civil marriage ceremony at Mississauga Civic Centre.
To book a civil marriage ceremony, you’ll need to provide the City with a valid Ontario Marriage License number, date of purchase and the place it was purchased.
What happens next
We’ll call you within two business days to confirm your marriage details.
We’ll book a wedding officiant for you as well as a consultation meeting which will be scheduled at least three days prior to the ceremony.
If you’re making your wedding arrangements in person at the City of Mississauga, we’ll provide you with a Civil Marriage Information Package or you can download the package prior to the consultation meeting.
Once your officiant and consultation meeting is booked, you’ll need to book the Civic Centre Chapel or Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Garden within 24 hours. Only Mississauga residents can book the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Garden.
Your personal information is collected under the authority of sections 11(1) and 227(c) of the Municipal Act, 2001 and will be used by City of Mississauga Staff to respond to your service request and/or inquiry.
