The City’s Noise Control By‑law prohibits noise that causes a disturbance to residents in their homes. After noise is reported, the City will:
Review and prioritize the report based on its likelihood to reoccur and its impact to residents.
Determine if an onsite investigation by an enforcement officer is required to proceed with the case.
If you break Noise Control By-law regulations, you may be subject to a fine of up to $100,000.
