Summer 2020 outdoor pools
Programs offered at our outdoor pools will include uninstructed recreational swimming for all ages. These include Public Recreational Swims and Adult Lane & Leisure Swims. To attend, you must book your swim time online before visiting the pool.
Several measures have been taken to ensure the health and safety of participants and staff. Please refer to our list of FAQs for more information on booking your swim and revised guidelines.
Weather permitting, spray pads will also operate throughout the summer, with revised participation guidelines.
Here’s a look at some of the types of programs we offer:
These classes are for all ages and levels of ability. They include practice in technique, stroke development and endurance. They are available as group lessons, small class sizes and private lessons.
Programs like Aquafitness, Aqua Cycle and Water Running help improve stamina, endurance and muscle strength while reducing stress on joints. All classes include options to work out at your own level.
Warm water activities for those recovering from an injury, living with a chronic condition or need gentle, effective exercise. Personal training is also available.
Programs like Spring Board Diving, Lifesaving Sport and Citi Swim help improve physical fitness, stamina and strength.
Leadership and first aid
These programs include first aid and lifeguard training designed to develop skills in lifesaving techniques, teamwork and leadership. To see how the program is structured view the Lifesaving Society Leadership Program Chart.
