Recreation closures and cancellations

All facilities are closed until further notice to help slow the rate of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Sports and activities are also cancelled.

Facility closures

These facilities are closed to the public until further notice:

  • Active living centres
  • Arenas (including Vic Johnston Arena)
  • Community centres
  • Fitness centres
  • Indoor pools
  • Mississauga Seniors’ Centre
  • Outdoor rinks (Burnhamthorpe, Celebration Square, Woodhurst)
  • Paramount Fine Foods Centre
  • Park facilities including playgrounds, leash-free zones and sports courts

Spring programs

The start dates of spring program will be delayed due to the current closure.

To hold your spot, you should keep your current registration. We’ll credit you for any missed classes once the spring programs begin and their duration is confirmed.

If you prefer to cancel your registration, you can do so online for spring programs or request a refund.

For children’s swimming programs, we recommend you register in the same level as your child was in before the facility closure. You can ask your instructor to assess your child on the first day of class to make sure the level is still appropriate. We’ll help you transfer your child to a higher level if required.

Memberships, passes and payments

All memberships are affected by the current closures.

  • All-in Membership
  • Fit Membership
  • Fit+ Membership
  • Swim Membership
  • Walking track membership
  • Wellness membership

Annual memberships with monthly payments will continued to be processed as we’re not able to defer payments. You will receive an automatic extension to your expiry date equal to the closure length.

Memberships or passes that do not pay monthly will receive an automatic extension to their expiry dates that is equal to the length of our closure.

If you prefer to cancel your membership, you can do so online or request a refund.

Facility rentals

If you’ve booked a room, field or ice rental during our closure, you will receive a credit on your account for the time missed.

To receive a refund instead of a credit, complete the refund request form.
