Programming will include public recreational swims and adult lane and leisure swims with advanced online bookings only (up to seven days in advance with a limit of one spot per person, per day). To book your swim time go to activemississauga.ca
Following the Provincial Government and Public Health guidelines The City of Mississauga has made the difficult decision to cancel all previously scheduled Recreation Programs (including summer camp) for July and August.
As the Province begins to open businesses, we understand that some parents will need childcare options over the summer. On June 9, the Chief Medical officer of Health and the Provincial government announced that summer day camps across the province can re-open with strict health and safety protocols in place.
In an effort to support families in Mississauga, we will now offer a modified version of our popular Summer Fun Camp, aligning with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines. As group sizes will be much smaller and there are room capacities in place to support physical distancing, the number of spaces available this summer will be significantly reduced. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
Please refer to our list of FAQ’s for more information on cancellations and for information on our upcoming summer camp offerings.
With guidance from Peel Public Health and government agencies, Community Tennis clubs and Public Tennis Courts are open.
In compliance to the Province’s strict health and safety protocols, we are able to offer recreational outdoor tennis lessons. Registration is now open to anyone who is 7+ years of age and lessons begin July 3!

All permits will be required to follow provincial and regional guidelines. Currently, provincial guidelines only allow training sessions for team sports – no games or scrimmages are permitted. Groups are also required to put in place operational procedures in order to maintain appropriate physical distancing as mandated by the province.
Due to these changes in permit format and ice availability, we have made the decision to cancel any existing draft ice contracts for the summer season. Any party interested in booking ice time for the summer season (July & August) are asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org
Council has directed that permits for festivals, events, tournaments and other large gatherings, with more than 50 people (i.e. banquets) be cancelled until September 7, 2020.
If you have had a booking that has been cancelled as a result, you will receive a credit on your account for the time missed.
