Following the Provincial Government and Public Health guidelines The City of Mississauga has made the difficult decision to cancel all previously scheduled Recreation Programs (including summer camp) for July and August.

As the Province begins to open businesses, we understand that some parents will need childcare options over the summer. On June 9, the Chief Medical officer of Health and the Provincial government announced that summer day camps across the province can re-open with strict health and safety protocols in place.

In an effort to support families in Mississauga, we will now offer a modified version of our popular Summer Fun Camp, aligning with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines. As group sizes will be much smaller and there are room capacities in place to support physical distancing, the number of spaces available this summer will be significantly reduced. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.

Please refer to our list of FAQ’s for more information on cancellations and for information on our upcoming summer camp offerings.

With guidance from Peel Public Health and government agencies, Community Tennis clubs and Public Tennis Courts are open.

In compliance to the Province’s strict health and safety protocols, we are able to offer recreational outdoor tennis lessons. Registration is now open to anyone who is 7+ years of age and lessons begin July 3!

The City of Mississauga continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak in collaboration with Peel Public Health.  This includes several measures designed to limit physical distancing.  Council has supported a phased plan for facility rentals

Starting Saturday July 4, permitted use of:

  • Artificial turf fields
  • Ball diamonds
  • Cricket fields
  • Picnic areas and photography in parks (max. 10 people)

Starting Monday July 6, permitted use of:
