In progress City project

Apartment Building Standards and Maintenance Program

We are working to ensure apartment buildings and properties are well-maintained, for a more livable community.

About

The City of Mississauga is working to protect and enhance the City’s stock of affordable, safe, livable rental housing.

City staff are currently assessing the need for an apartment building standards and maintenance program. A future program is likely to resemble the current City of Toronto’s RentSafeTO program. Residents are encouraged to review the RentSafeTO program for more information regarding the tenant and ownership roles and responsibilities.

We want to hear from you whether you are tenant, landlord or building owner/operator.

We are working to ensure apartment buildings and properties are well-maintained, for a more livable community.
