Bike racks on MiWay buses
If you’re traveling with a bike on MiWay, you can use the bike rack at the front of the bus for free.
Bike racks on MiWay buses can carry two regular bicycles with wheels that are at least 16 inches (41 cm) in diameter. Motorized bicycles, electric-powered bicycles and bicycles equipped with child carriers are not allowed on the bike racks.
Passengers are responsible for loading and unloading their bicycles. If a bike rack is unavailable bicycles can be taken onboard the bus, as long as it doesn’t disrupt other passengers. For safety, bicycles must not block the aisles.
Passengers younger than 13-years-old must be accompanied by an adult when using a bus bike rack. MiWay is not responsible for bikes stolen from or damaged on the bike racks.
