If Mississauga Library does not have an item you wish to borrow, we can request it from another Canadian library through an interlibrary loan.
We accept requests with the following limits:
- Customers are limited to 10 interlibrary loan requests at one time
- We only accept print, audiobook, and non-fiction DVD requests
- No renewals are allowed
- There is a 3 month waiting period to request the same title again
- Items published in the last two years are not eligible for interlibrary loan, you can instead fill out the suggest a title for purchase form
