Legislative Services makes up 1% of the City’s total budget. In 2019, the City decreased Legislative Service’s budget by 0.1 million dollars.

  • Supports Council and 24 Committees of Council and quasi-judicial tribunals
    Provides live-streaming and on-demand videos for Council and six Committees, including the Committee of Adjustment
  • 7 committee meetings publicly live streamed
  • 99% of the decisions related to Freedom of Information requests are made within 30 days
  • On average 485 staff reports are processed through the current Agenda Management system
  • 76% of Marriage Licence’s issued have been submitted through the on-line application system since it launched in mid-July 2018
  • Provincial Offences Act (POA) transcripts are produced within 90 days
