2020 budget: Get involved

Our 2020 budget process has begun and we want to hear from you. Try out our budget allocator to tell us how you would spend money on City services. You can also attend a Budget Committee meeting or contact your local councillor.

How would you spend your tax dollars?

The budget allocator is an online tool that shows you how spending decisions affect City services. You can also tell us how you would spend the City’s budget.

Use budget allocator

The allocator includes twelve City services that are most used by people in Mississauga. These are also the services that require the most budget spending.

The allocator results are shared with Mississauga’s Budget Committee to help inform their discussions on the City Business Plan and Budget. See the allocator results for the 2019 budget.

You can also let us know what you think of the allocator by using the comments feature in the tool or by emailing us at
