Starting on July 1, MiWay will launch improvements on two major routes in Malton.
These changes will give customers more service hours, better connections to transit hubs, direct routing and reflect the MiWay Five Transit Service Plan (2016-2020) service commitment to enhance customer experience.
Major service changes include:

- Route simplified by dropping route variants 11A and 11B to provide consistent routing throughout the week along Goreway Drive and Dundas Street W.
- Morning Star Drive and Rexwood Road in Malton (previously serviced by Routes 11A & 11B) will continue to be serviced by the Route 16/16A Malton.
- Schedules have been revised.

- Cancelled and replaced with a new Route 30 Rexdale – providing Saturday service and direct connections between Westwood Square, Woodbine Centre and Malton GO, with extended service to Islington/Bergamont Avenue.

- The current Route 30 Woodbine and Route 12 Rexdale will be combined into a new Route 30 Rexdale. Routing extended along Rexdale Boulevard to Bergamot Avenue at Islington Avenue.
- Additional hours of service introduced will provide consistent all-day service Monday through Saturday and improved connections to Malton GO trains. Direct connections provided between Westwood Square, Woodbine Centre (on-street stops on Rexdale), Malton GO (during weekday rush hours) and Islington Avenue/Rexdale Boulevard.

MiWay will operate on a holiday schedule on July 1. Late night trips will be added for the Canada Day celebrations at Mississauga Celebration Square.
