Celebrate Earth Day with Green Events Across Mississauga

Environment | April 9, 2018

The City of Mississauga is celebrating Earth Days 2018 with a series of themed events happening across the city. Media are invited to the Earth Days media launch event on Friday, April 20.

At the media launch, participants will enjoy an impactful screening of environmental activist Stephen Szucs’ documentary, Sustainable Joes: The Time is Now. Father Michael Goetz students, winners of the 2017 Earth Market video challenge, will also be joining.

The contest encouraged contestants to create a short video that answered the question “What are you going to do about climate change?” and was open to all public and Catholic schools in the Peel Region.
