The City has been awarded the Silver recognition through Share the Road Cycling Coalition for its ongoing commitment to make active transportation a safer, more accessible and valued part of Mississauga’s communities.
The transit agencies partnered with The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program to make travelling more accessible for individuals with non-visible disabilities and chronic illnesses.
On October 23, Mississauga celebrated its 2025 Urban Design Award winners, recognizing the City’s most innovative projects that contribute to a vibrant and livable community.
