Construction related to municipal infrastructure is permitted under the amended Ontario Regulation 82/20. The City is keeping employees, contractors and the community safe by following Province of Ontario legislation and guidelines, public health directives, physical distancing, using personal protection equipment and adjustment of work schedules.
At this time, parties may preserve construction liens on City projects by submitting a completed Form 12: Claim for Lien under Section 34 of the Act to vital.stats@mississauga.ca. Please reference “Construction Lien” in the email subject line.

The Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act states that it is an offence to host an event that exceeds the gatherings limits, with a minimum $10,000 fine, as well as a temporary closure order. The library is providing a free printing service for customers requiring a paper copy of their vaccination certificate. All Provincial Offences Act (POA) matters are being rescheduled for remote hearings. If you receive a Part III summons for a traffic or by-law offence, do not attend court.
A notice of your new court date will be sent to you by mail to the address on file with the court. The notice will contain instructions on how to attend court remotely. Learn more about remote court proceedings.
If you receive a Part III Summons for a traffic or by-law offence, your court appearance will be via conference call. Only Part III Summons (first appearances) are proceeding at this time.
All court locations will continue to hear matters remotely. A notice of your new remote early resolution will be sent to you by mail to the address on file with the court.

Wireless Mississauga is a city-wide network of free wireless hotspots available for public use. These locations are helping provide internet service to those in need, who may not have easy access, while allowing for physical distancing.
Outdoor pools are open this summer for lane and public swims. Capacity will be limited and online reservations are required, available five days in advance at 6 a.m. Celebration Square Wading Pool is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with capacity limits. Residents waiting to go into the wading pool will be required to line up to ensure they maintain a two-metre distance.
